Well, This Was Unexpected!

We've had some pretty interesting things happen since we decided to build a distillery on our Southland farm.

But finding out we're finalists in TWO categories at the Southland Export Awards is certainly up there!

We've been named finalists for the NZAS Innovation in Export Award and the DHL Southland Export Mentorship Award.

We're rather chuffed.

There's something slightly surreal about being recognised for exporting when most of our working days still involve gumboots, grain and whatever the Southland weather decides to throw at us.

But perhaps that's the point.

You don't have to be based in a big city to have big ambitions.

We're in some wonderful company amongst Southland businesses doing extraordinary things, and we're looking forward to celebrating with everyone in September.

Now, we'd better find something to wear that doesn't have mud on it.
