Welcome to The Dramery

There's something rather special about welcoming people onto the farm. Meeting people from all over New Zealand and the globe.

For years, we've been sharing the story of Auld Farm Distillery through our bottles, our Harvest Casks and the people we've met along the way.

But there's nothing quite like actually being here.

Seeing the place where the grain grows. Standing in the distillery where it's transformed into spirit. And discovering just how much goes into making whisky at the bottom of the world.

So we're rather excited to welcome you to The Dramery.

A little place to enjoy a dram

We've always wanted people to feel part of what we're creating here at Scotts Gap.

Not simply to buy a bottle, but to understand where it came from.

The Dramery gives us another way to do that.

A place to sit down, enjoy a drink, a dram or a cocktail, ask questions and hear a few stories from the farm.

Whether you're already a whisky enthusiast, curious about what we're making or simply looking for somewhere a little different to visit, we'd love to see you.

A bar on a working farm

We're not exactly on the beaten track.

In fact, you might find yourself wondering whether you've taken a wrong turn on the way here.

But that's part of the adventure.

Auld Farm is still very much a working Southland farm. There are crops to grow, animals to look after and all the usual jobs that don't disappear just because we've built a distillery.

And tucked away amongst it all is a place where you can enjoy the spirits we've made from the grain grown right outside.

It doesn't get much closer to the source than that.

Come and see what we're up to

We're incredibly proud of what we've built here, and we're even more excited to share it.

The Dramery is another chapter in our journey from seed to sip.

And we'd love you to be part of it.

So next time you're travelling through Western Southland, come and find us at Scotts Gap.

There's a story behind every bottle.

And we reckon those stories are even better shared over a dram.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Dramery.
