Since 2015, long before a bottle carried our name, we were quietly shaping what would become the heart of Auld Farm Distillery. Grain grown in Southland’s deep, rain-fed soils. Fermentations guided by intuition and patience. Spirits laid down with the belief that one day they would tell the story of where they come from - and of the people who crafted them.

This trio of whisky is the first time that story is being shared.

Each release is drawn from one of our earliest harvests, distilled from single grains grown on our family farm and matured onsite in hand-selected casks. Together, they trace the beginnings of our journey: the curiosity to distil nine different grains, the commitment to provenance, and the pursuit of flavour shaped by our land.

Single Malt Barley Whisky — 2017

Barley is the backbone of whisky tradition, and our 2017 Single Malt honours that lineage while reflecting our Southland terroir. Made from our farm-grown barley cultivars and distilled with the same curiosity that sparked our earliest spirit runs, this whisky shows depth, structure, and a confident sense of place.
