At Auld Farm Distillery we believe in the old adage ‘good things take time.’ 

Having a vision for the future is something that runs in our family. Our farm at Broadlands in Scotts Gap has been handed down through three generations. What began as Grandad Robert’s place of healing after the Great War continues today as we build on this legacy, exploring the capacity of this remarkable piece of Southland.

At Auld Farm we work with the ebb and flow of the seasons; the cycle of growth and harvest, knowing that the pace of these processes can’t be rushed. We also know that the final result of our labour is worth the wait.  

By combining our rich resource of homegrown grain with pure spring water sourced from our farm, and the magic ingredient of time, we’re creating something truly special. 

We invite you to come with us on the journey of producing our first ever single-paddock, single-malt, single-barrel whisky. 

By purchasing a Harvest Cask you can be involved in the process each step of the way – visit us for the filling of your Harvest Cask and stay updated during the maturation process with samples of your single malt spirit delivered at half maturation and six months prior to bottling. Your Harvest Cask will then be matured at Auld Distillery’s on-farm bond store for either five or ten years.
